Grandfather Mountain - Blue Ridge
Almost Heaven, West Virginia
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenendoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
-John Denver.
Grandfather Mountains are a part of the Blue Ridge's. They boast the tallest peaks on the eastern coast of mainland USA. The view at the top is breathtaking, with deep valleys and lot of fall foilage. The wind at the summit, was blowing at 75mph and one had to struggle to stay straight. There is a swinging bridge at the sumit that hangs periliously over a 80 feet ravine.Another attraction is the Grandfather Mountain Zoo featuring many endangered species like the Bald Eagle, the eastern Cougar, Bear and Otter.
A particle of a person in Brownian motion in the sea of life and sincerely hoping that there is a method to my madness in the larger scheme of things. Am mostly enthusiastic but am occasionally dull. Believe in dealing and in being dealt a fair hand.
